We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Housing Manager. This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (work pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate). This role is working from our office in Melton, near Woodbridge. The role comes with Agile Working and Flexible Working will be considered.
This will this role will manage the lettings stream of housing management and will be managing a field based team of officers. As a Housing Manager, you will lead and a develop a team and support the Head of Housing to deliver our housing strategy and our vision, Housing Made Simple. You’ll be the subject matter expert for my service area ensuring the function meets all regulatory and legislative requirements.
Taking a coaching approach to empower your team to deliver an outstanding housing management service to our tenants. You’ll support the team to resolve complex enquiries whilst encouraging them to be autonomous and be confident in their decision making, driven by doing the right thing for our customers and our business.
You’ll support your manager to lead on our vision, Housing Made Simple, to make it as easy as possible for tenants to rent their homes whilst ensuring we are compliant with the law, legislation, and Flagship’s policies and procedures.
Applications are welcomed for the role of Housing Manager from those with previous experience of leading and developing a team, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, and resources to carry out their roles.
You’ll need extensive housing management experience, preferably in social housing. To be able to demonstrable experience of continuous improvement , shaping the future direction of the team and wider business. With the ability to analyse and interpret data to understand and improve performance.
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. You will also need a full UK Driving Licence. The ideal candidate will also have a CIH 4 - Housing Qualification or be willing to study towards it.
